10.23.13 – Patrick Seyferth & Moheeb Murray Present on Warranty, Recall and PL in Today’s Environment

OESA and Bush Seyferth & Paige PLLC (BSP) presented “Warranty, Recall and Product Liability in Today’s Environment,” on Oct. 23, 2013 at the MSU Management Education Center, Troy, Mich. This meeting offered suppliers insight into the implications and lessons learned from the recent OEM recall situations.  Now more than ever, suppliers need to understand how to develop world class internal processes and strategies to avoid and manage legal hazards related to claims of non-performance of vehicle parts and systems.  The focus of this meeting was on risk management, engineering best practices and crisis strategy.  Suppliers also participated via live webinar.
