10.31.18 – BSP Attends PLAC’s Fall 2018 Conference

The annual Product Liability Advisory Council’s (PLAC) Fall Conference was held October 31-November 2 at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, CA. BSP Partner Patrick Seyferth co-chaired the event, alongside Dara Mann from Squire Patton Boggs LLP. Patrick also moderated the “What is the Product? Risk Management Considerations for the Smart / Technical Product” panel that consisted of Erinn DePorre of General Motors, Erica Keller of Aptiv, Rita McConnell of Medtronic, Brian Mendonca of Google, and Kenneth Murata of Samsung Electronics America, Inc.

PLAC is a not-for-profit association of product manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and select regulatory, litigation and appellate professionals who work to shape the common law of product liability and complex regulation, provide guidance on changing regulations, and strategically help corporations manage risk throughout the entire product lifecycle.
