Alison H. Rodney has extensive experience in the area of automotive product litigation defense with a focus on managing complex discovery and e-discovery. Alison has served as national discovery counsel on product liability and class action matters for several OEMs. Alison also counsels automotive clients regarding internal and governmental defect investigations, product recalls, TREAD reporting, compliance with regulatory consent orders, and emerging issues with connected and autonomous vehicles.
- National discovery counsel for OEMs on a variety of issues in product liability and class action cases in multiple jurisdictions.
- Drafted briefing and successfully argued motions to quash apex level deposition and defended several motions to compel on behalf of Fortune 500 client.
- Prepared and defended the depositions of numerous Fortune 500 company witnesses of all levels.
Prior to joining the BSP team, Alison served as a Principal at Miller Canfield, where she worked on a variety of matters, including automotive product liability and class action defense, employment disputes, contract disputes, NHTSA and internal investigations, negligence, and premises liability.
Alison is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned her B.A. in English. She later earned her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, where she served as Senior Associate Editor of the Wayne Law Review.
