Andrea K. Hopkins is Of Counsel to BSP and focuses her practice on complex litigation, with a special emphasis on class actions, mass actions, multidistrict litigation, and government-enforcement actions.  Andrea works out of our Kalamazoo office.

Andrea has represented individuals and corporations in a broad range of litigation involving insurance, breach of contract, employment discrimination, and other issues in state and federal court.  She has also counseled local governments on potential liabilities and defended those governments in litigation concerning constitutional questions, contracts, and other matters.

Before joining BSP, Andrea gained extensive experience at Glenn, Feldmann, Darby & Goodlatte in Virginia and Gilbert LLP in Washington, DC.  Andrea received her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 2008.  There, she served on the Mock Trial team and participated in the London Summer Program in 2006. She received a B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science and Sociology from Bates College.
