Daniel Ruiz is a Law Clerk at BSP that focuses his work on litigation. He assists with research, drafting legal documents, and all other aspects of assisting with cases. Prior to joining BSP, Daniel gained experience as a Student Attorney for the Washtenaw County Public Defender and as a Summer Associate at Haynes and Boone LLP.
Daniel attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science with a Psychology Emphasis. He went on to the University of Michigan Law School to earn his J.D. While at the University of Michigan, Daniel was an executive officer of the Latino Law Student Association and the ACLU-Student Chapter. He also worked as an Appellate Advocate at the University of Michigan Criminal Appellate Clinic and an Instructor of Business Law and Ethics at the Ross School of Business. Daniel will take the July 2019 Michigan Bar Exam.
