Partner Michael Williams Named “Southwest Michigan Emerging Leader” by 269 Magazine

Partner Michael Williams was recently featured in 269 Magazine as one of “Southwest Michigan’s Emerging Leaders.”  The feature recognizes young leaders dedicated to their professions and community.

Michael spearheaded BSP’s recent expansion to the west side of the state, launching the firm’s Kalamazoo office.  Meanwhile, Michael continues to focus his practice on complex litigation.  Michael’s work consists of class actions and other high-exposure cases, including Flint-water-related litigation, appeals before federal courts, catastrophic injury cases, and others.  In addition to delivering great results for BSP’s clients, Michael works with and mentors others at the firm.

Outside work, Michael stays active. Nationally, Michael is a member of DRI and the Federal Bar Association; he is also a National Trial College Fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates.  He stays involved locally by serving as a member of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association, the Southwest Michigan First’s “Council of 100,” and the State Bar of Michigan’s Appellate Practice Section.  And in his free time, you’ll find Michael coaching the Kalamazoo Central Mock Trial Team or spending time at the Air Zoo with his wife Andrea (a Kalamazoo native) and his daughter Molly.
