1.15.19 – BSP Moderates FBA Internal Investigations Panel

On Tuesday, January 15, the Federal Bar Association’s Eastern District of Michigan Chapter hosted an “Internal Investigations: Key Considerations for Companies and Their Counsel” panel at the Detroit Athletic Club. The esteemed panel, consisting of Judge Stephen J. Murphy III of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Mike Ortwein of General Motors, Mark Chutkow of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Louie Gabel of Jones Day, Rob Biskup of Deloitte, and BSP’s Derek Linkous, discussed the best practices for and consequence of conducting internal investigations, with particular emphasis on how electronic information affects the course of an investigation.
