Construction Litigation and Counseling
BSP’s Construction Litigation and Counseling team uniquely combines in-the-trenches litigation skills with an in-house construction litigation perspective. Michael Laramie and Moheeb Murray co-lead a team that leverages its courtroom knowhow with Mike’s nearly 16 years of experience as Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Head of Litigation for a national real estate development and construction company where he interfaced with business leaders and managed outside counsel in complex litigation matters. This combination enables the BSP team to deliver favorable results, cost-effectively, to the firm’s construction-industry clients.
BSP helps clients through all aspects of the litigation process and counsels clients on how to best handle matters. BSP prioritizes staying up-to-date on local and nationwide trends through active involvement in industry organizations, including the American Bar Association’s Construction Industry Forum, the Construction Association of Michigan, Associated General Contractors of Michigan, the Defense Research Institute’s Construction Law Committee, the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan, and more.
