- Secured dismissal of multiple nationwide economic-loss class actions at pleadings stage on behalf of several major automotive manufacturers.
- Successfully opposed federal putative construction-defect class action.
- Successfully defended summary judgment in an employment-discrimination suit against a major automotive manufacturer.
- Member of trial team to win total defense verdict in two-week Ohio consumer protection jury trial.
- Defended automaker in federal appeal concerning a multi-million dollar negligence lawsuit.
Prior to joining Bush Seyferth PLLC, Grant clerked at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan under the Honorable Stephen J. Murphy, III. He also served as a legal fellow for International Justice Mission in its Delhi, India field office, worked as a summer associate at Plunkett Cooney, P.C., and interned at the Michigan Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan.
In 2014, Grant received his J.D, cum laude, from the Wayne State University Law School, where he was a Dean’s Scholar, Associate Editor of the Wayne Law Review, Senior Member of Moot Court, Civil Procedure Teaching Assistant, and Criminal Law Research Assistant. Grant also attended Central Michigan University where he received his M.S.A. in Public Administration and B.B.A. in Management Information Systems magna cum laude.
