Jason M. Schneider focuses his practice on complex commercial, product liability, class action, and securities / finance litigation. He also has extensive experience with appellate matters. His work has included contract disputes, secured transactions, business torts, product liability, tax appeals, trademark infringement, eminent domain, and employment disputes.
- Represented subordinated lender in complex secured-transaction dispute.
- Special assistant attorney general for state agency in relation to multi-billion dollar international infrastructure project.
- Represented energy company in multi-million dollar property-tax appeal.
- Lead counsel for health-services provider in contract dispute.
- Represented leading financial-services firm in multi-million dollar non-compete dispute.
Prior to joining Bush Seyferth PLLC, Jason worked as a litigation associate at Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC and Zausmer, August & Caldwell, P.C. He also clerked at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri under Judge Jean C. Hamilton and had an internship at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri under Judge Charles E. Rendlen III.
Jason received his J.D., cum laude, from Washington University School of Law in 2013. He was an Honor Scholar and received several other accolades during his stellar academic career, such as a CALI Award for earning the top grade in his Commercial Law class, membership in the Order of Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy, Best Brief and Regional Finalist in the St. Louis region of the ABA’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and Quarterfinalist in the Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Competition. Also while in law school, Jason was a summer intern at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office and active in Washington University’s Appellate Clinic.
Jason received his B.S. in Business Administration – Marketing, cum laude, with a minor in German from the University of South Carolina. There he was a member of student government and the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and was a Staff Sports Writer for The Daily Gamecock. He also studied abroad for a year at the University of Leeds.
